The Story Behind the Journey
Born in Iran and raised in the Netherlands, my life has been a journey across cultures. I’ve been fortunate to live in Ireland, Portugal, and now Spain, which has given me an on-the-ground, insider’s knowledge of European destinations.
The idea for Avelia Travel first took root during walks in Portugal’s Parque Natural de Sintra, but the vision truly blossomed in Catalonia’s medieval villages. It was here, living and breathing the local culture, that I began to build a trusted network of partners—not just business contacts, but friends who share an uncompromising standard for excellence.
This extensive, personal network is our most valuable asset. It’s what allows Avelia Travel to offer exclusive, off-the-beaten-path experiences that are often inaccessible to others.
